dear linda20: i read your story and it touch me. you are so lucky you found a angel. i have been looking for help every where. I have an electric bill up to 5400 i have medical protection right now but i live in fear every day that it will be shut off. I am disabled with MS and my husband is the only one that works. I cant get social security or ssi because of what he makes or i dont have enough work creidts.What my husband brings home dosent cover all our bills.I cant get any help. I did write a letter to the govenor of ct and they sent it to social services and said it would take 2 weeks and its been a month now. Nobody cares they just push it down to the next person and they forget about it.I just fear they may cut it around christmas and what kind off christmas would my kids have with out electric. thank you for listening.patty
hi just2sweet: I read your story and had to write to you.I too suffer with MS almost six years now. I cannot work because of the ms. But i cannot get disability or any other help because my husband works.I thank god every day for my husband because he is the only one working. dear lorri; It was nice hearing from you. Look for a high school student to paint your rooms ,they are always looking for extra money. as far as my MS it is stable right now, thank god. How is yours? Even though i am married i still very along.

My electric company was going to shut me off because i owe 4900 on my bill, but i have medical protection but i am not sure how much longer they will wait for a payment. I wish i knew a lawyer and maybe he could tell me. Im so sorry that your behind also , there must be help out there for people like us
i will try but i so sick of people treating me like i should beshamed for asking for help, they treat you like dirt .im not asking for alot just some help with my electric bill,or applying for a grant. there is so many fake web sites out there you just dont know where to look or how to do it.patty
Hello my name is patty: Schmidty thats a good idea to open a place like that i wish there was one around me.I have tried every where for help but cant get any, either i didnt put enough time in for social security or because of what my husband makes i cant get ssi. My husband doesnt make much thats why we owe 4500 to the electric company . i even wrote to senstor dodds office to see if they could do anything and that was a big fat zero. there has to be be help out there for me and others like me.
dear merrie: dont get rid of your baby you may never forgive yourself later. I was in the same place your in. but I had family around, and my sons father didnt have much to do with him after birth so i had to apply for welfare, and that was the hardest thing i had to do but you do it for your kids, and always remember things always have a way of working out. good luck
I know how you feel, i too have MS and my life is bad too and i cant get any help.Once ms entered my life everything went bad.I have 2 kids too.I never thought in my life time that if i got sick there would be no help for me, or that i would feel so along with no one to turn to for help. What has this world turned into that you cant get help when you need it.I go out of my way to help people if they needed it if i had it and you needed it i would give it to you.When i was growing up i never dream of being ill and along with no help. My husband does his best but we just cant make the electric bill its 4100 and they are going to shut if off, they dont care that my medicine needs to be in the refidgerator. IS there any one that can help us

My husband is the only one working and i have two kids. I really need help. I cant get disablity or any other help.I would like to apply for a grant but I dont know how to do that, so if there is anyone out there that can help please let me know.I just reappyied for SSI by talking to a ssi laywer and he said he cant help me because of my husbands income. They shouldnt go by his income they should go by how many bills you have.We cant make it on his income I have an electric bill of 4100 and cant pay it. Why cant I get any help.
